helsa at Techtextil

Experiences - Background - Highlights

I am Luisa and this is my blogpost.

As an apprentice industrial sales assistant at helsa in Gefrees, I currently have two months of marketing on my agenda. I have already learned a lot about CI, advertising, exhibition preparation and the website and now also what I blog about today.

I had the opportunity to visit Techtextil fair 2017 in Frankfurt am Main. My tasks there were to examine the helsa stand, to conduct a few interviews and to look for the fair highlights.

That is why I would first like to mention a few facts:

Techtextil presented 1,477 companies from all over the world. Of these, 423 came from Germany and 1,054 from abroad. The notified companies were not exclusively international market leaders but also German start-up companies.

One of the focal points of this exhibition was functional clothing textiles and "smart textiles". Parallel to this, Texprocess showed all steps in the processing of textile and flexible materials. The highlight of this fair was "Living in Space", which focused on the application of technical textiles on the space travel.

After I had given myself an impression of the fair, I wanted to know how my colleague Ina Kasel, deputizing for the helsa fair team, did so:

Hello Ina, you are today at the helsa booth.
Please tell me which area you are responsible for at helsa.

Ina Kasel: Hello Luisa, I am working as a developer in product management.

How is the mood at your helsa booth?

Ina Kasel: The mood is very good. We are many colleagues and so everyone has the opportunity to watch the fair.

What is your personal highlight at the show?

Ina Kasel: At a one booth you could see how the sweating of a human being simulated and then evaluated visually and graphically. That impressed me very much and was my personal highlight.

Thank you Ina, for the nice interview with you! It is nice to have a second opinion on the fair.
